I am a big fan of the original The Exorcist movie, a film that traumatized me as a child and marked my life forever, and at the same time turned me into the man and artist I am today. I had been thinking about how Pazuzy is portrayed in the film and I wanted to toy around the concept of the demon as the ultimate predator of the human kind, trying to bring it close to the hybrid statues from the summerian civilization in a subtle way. I found the idea of representing a demon as a person with actual animalesque features really interesting.
